The walls and the North door

The walls and the North door

The city was surrounded by powerful walls with four entry doors located in the cardinal points. It was rebuilt a part of the walls with the North door defended by two square towers with a wooden structure. Its basis is about 4m wide. It was realized with stone till a higher of about 3,5m. The tower was surmounted by a narrower parapet with a higher of 1,5m. The walls were realized with adobe and wooden poles that leave a path or a passage walk. This entry is the easier access (as the plan of the present road proves) and gives a limit reference of the city.
