The South neighbourhood, superimposition of two cities

The South neighbourhood, superimposition of two cities

In the South zone of the city, the more protected and nicer to live, the well-off group group of Roman epoch built in the 1st century better cared houses imitating the Roman taste: use of regular tiles and curved ones for the shingle and the existency of little porticos with columns.

This neighbourhood superimposes to a previous one how we can see through the rectification of city plan the new street with a well cared paving cuts the route of a older and more irregular one (of the 1st century) that has passage stones in the centre.
